He was predeceased by: his parents, Artur Boavida and Maria Boavida (Melo); and his son Jason Boavida. He is survived by: his wife Maria Boavida (Bolota); his children, Elizabeth Martinez of Florida and Anthony Boavida (Tannia) of Seekonk; his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Marcus Martinez, Drew and Arriyah Boavida; and his siblings, Ana Maria Arruda and Luis Boavida.
