Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrews and Mary Andrews (Goulart); and his sister Mary Frances McIvor. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Delores Andrews (Ormonde); his children, John P. Andrews of Riverside and Deborah Merola (William) of Warwick; and his sister Katherine A. Whitaker of Seekonk. He is also survived by five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rebello Funeral Home (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St Martha's Church (2595 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). The military honors will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
