He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Mary Almeida, Sr. (Andade); and his sisters, Patricia Zitano, Alice Saraiva and Dolores Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristen Almeida of Coventry and Kerrin Houlker (Al) of Coventry, Four; his grandchildren, Amber Levesque (Paulie), Adria Mello, Chelsy and Ryan Houlker; and his great grandchildren, Alivia, Aria, Brittany, Jayson, Nasir "Manny", Savannah, Ryleigh and Emma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
