James A. Carbone Obituary

Carbone, James A., 76, of Blanding Avenue, East Providence, died peacefully on December 20, 2022 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence. He was the husband of the late Sharon M. (Chase) Carbone.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Marcellino and Rose (Eskiborn) Carbone, he lived in East Providence for 50 years.

James was an engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat for 35 years.

Mr. Carbone was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict.

James enjoyed golfing, bowling and loved his truck.

He is survived by a sister, Marie Carbone of Portsmouth; a brother, Pasquale Carbone of Fairhaven, MA and several nieces and nephews.

His Burial will be held in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, South County Trail, Exeter on a date and time to be announced.
