She was predeceased by: her husband José Medeiros; her parents, Antonio Silva and Hortencia Da Silva (Ferreira); and also João Leite. She is survived by: her children, Antonio C. Leite of East Providence, Ana I. Leite (David) of Westport, Ricardo J. Leite (Mary) of East Providence and Jenny Monroe (Walter) of East Greenwich; her siblings, Anotnio Da Silva of Toronto, Gloria Medeiros of Toronto, Hortencia Da Silva of Portugal, Fatima Audette of Providence and Goreti Silva of Portugal; and her grandchildren, Noah Reed, Jessica Da Ponte, Jacob Leite, Jenna Phillips and Chace Monroe.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (81 N Carpenter St, East Providence, RI 02914).
