We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, Irene C. Mercure (East Providence, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Irene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Irene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard D. Mercure; her parents, Leon Couturiere and Rose Couturiere (LaPlante); and her son Richard Dennis Mercure. She is survived by: her daughter Diane Isabella of Greenwood Village, CO; and her grandchildren, Christopher Harrison, Scott Harrison, Danielle Mercure, Kathryn Harrison, Kevin Mercure, Michelle Mercure and Ryan Mercure. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
