She is survived by: her children, Lucia Travassos (Armando) of East Providence and David Moniz of Kathleen, GA.; her grandchildren, Philip Travassos, Susan Travassos, Michael Moniz and Bianca Moniz; her great grandchildren, Logan, Olivia, Hazel, John and Julia; and her siblings, Maria of Conceicao, Angelina Ribeiro of East Providence, Manuel Ferreira of Middleboro and Joao Ferreira of Bridgewater.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Gilda's name to a charity of one's choice.
