With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Germana P. Medeiros of East Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jacinto Castro Medeiros; her siblings, Alzira Silva, Almerinda Cordeiro, Maria Isabel Cordeiro, Virginia, Rego and Mariano Pereira Moniz, Jr.; and her parents, Mariano Pereira Moniz, Sr. and Hortencia Moniz (Menezes).
She is survived by: her children, Zita Medeiros (Fernando Vidal) of East Hartford, Goretti Medeiros of Southington, Zito, Paulo Medeiros of East Providence and Clara Medeiros of Pawtucket, RI..
There, she was a three-time Covid survivor and fought bravely despite the absence of her family during the lock-down resulting from the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's hospital.
