He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille T. Dowling (Doyle); and his parents, George P. Dowling and Isabelle Dowling (Hudson). He is survived by: his children, George Dowling of Marathon, James Dowling of South Attleboro, Suzan Brito (Ralph) of Pawtucket and Patricia Bailey (late William) of South Attleboro; and his grandchildren, Kevin Bailey (Stephanie) of Georgia, Melissa Vasquez of Miami and Charlene Fletcher of Pawtucket. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
