He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Jose Silva (Brum); his parents, Manuel Bettencourt Silva and Maria Conceicao Silva (Costa); and his sister Tina Avila. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Silva (Faith) and Sheri Melo (Robert) of North Providence; his grandchild Eryanna Auclair; his siblings, Louis Silva of Florida, Steve Silva of Florida and Natalie Silva of Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Brittany, Ashley Arruda, Gary Avila (Karen), Yvette Bowling (Andrew) and Sue Avila (Shawn).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A prayer was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
