He is survived by: his wife Cathleen Duarte (Ralph); his sibling Beverly Fernandes (Ricardo "Jimmy); his children, David Duarte (Lori Manfredo), Albert Musard, Barbara Duarte, Lori Duarte, Cathie Cabral (Eddie) and Angela Raposo (Marco); his pet Sadie; his friend Glen Miller; and his close friend Frank Hoague. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His career began before 1960, with his involvement in various companies and his proud contribution to the building of the hurricane barrier in Providence.
