It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fatima Maria DaPonte (East Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juvelino and Maria Genoveva Meneses (Ormonde); and her brother Jose Meneses. She is survived by: her spouse Agostinho DaPonte; her children, Dennis DaPonte (Lisa) of Pawtucket and Christina Bucci (James) of Johnston; her sisters, Angela Kinder of Florida and Maria DaRocha of Florida; and her in-laws, Alfred, Connie DaPonte, Manuel, Adrianne DaPonte, David, Lisa DaPonte, Leonore Rodrigues, Maria DeMedeiros, Jose and Agnes Ganhadeiro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
