She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquim Amaral and Natalina Amaral (Cabral). She is survived by: her siblings, Dora M. Simoes (Sergio) of North Dighton, Natalia Brum of Rumford, Lelia Braga (Joseph A. Braga), Vito Amaral (Maria Manuela) of Florida and Antonio Amaral (Donna) of Warwick. She is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great-great nephew.
