She was predeceased by: her husband Donald J. Lopes; her parents, Praxedes Carvalho and Isolina Carvalho (Garcia); and her siblings, Henrietta Clement, Alcina Carvalho, Pedro, John and Norberto Carvalho.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Lopes of Providence and Michelle Lopes of East Providence; her grandchildren, John and Stephany Lopes; and her brother Everett Carvalho of Providence. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
