It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Chan (East Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Nonquam Non Paratus. She is survived by: her granddaughter Diana; her husband Siu-Chim Chan; her brother Robert L Johnston of Candia, NH; her brothers-in-law, Siu-Yu Chan of Chatham, NJ and Siu-Kin Chan of Guangzhou China; her daughter Diana Chan-Chute of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Jessica Chute of Bozeman, MT and Ian David Chute of Brooklyn, NY.; her son Richard A. Chan of Takoma Park, MD; her grandson R. Andrew Chan Jr. (Erica); her great grandchild Georgia of Lexington, MA; her son James A. Chan (Cynthia) of Bethesda, MD; and her grandchildren, Lindsay of California, Ryan and Kelsey of Bethesda, MD.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter, and nieces and nephews.
