She was predeceased by: her parents, John Silva and Mary Silva (Sousa). She is survived by: her husband Richard D. Laughlin, III; her sons, Richard J. Laughlin (Valerie) of East Providence and Preston Laughlin (Zeiza) of North Providence; her grandchildren, Isaac Laughlin, Kahlia Williams, Daeshaun, Vinyah, Malik and Nevaeh Laughlin; her brother John Turner (Elisa) of California; and her close friend Pat Williams. She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
