He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Brown, and Eugenia Brown, Sr. (Fernandes); and his cousin Mark Santos. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Brown (Mabel Bueno) of Providence and Jacob Brown of Cranston; his grandson Joshua Bueno; his siblings, Peter Brown (Ana) and Marcia Brown; and his cousins, Linda of Washington, Cheryl Lewis and Denise Costa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
