He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Carney, Sr. and Angelina Carney (Olivieri); and his siblings, Patrick S. Carney and Thomas H. Carney, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Barreira (Angelo) of Rehoboth, John Carney (Linda) of Foster and Raymond Carney of Riverside; and his half-sister Christine Benevides (David) of Bristol. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
