The memory of Catherine L. Pappas of East Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 2, 2024 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father John Bonalewicz; and her niece Heather Bonalewicz. She is survived by: her mother Josephine Bonalewicz; her daughters, Lisa Pappas of Warwick and Bethany Donnelly (Edward Donnelly) of North Kingstown; her grandchildren, Emma and Joseph Donnelly; her friends, John J Bonalewicz, Fred Bonalewicz and Cindi O'Blenis; her half-brother John H Bonalewicz; and her nieces and nephews, Melissa Herald, Michael Jenkinson, Corey O'Blenis, Ashley O'Blenis, Cassie O'Blenis, Miles Bonalewicz and Dan Bonalewicz.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Martha's Church (2595 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A committal service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
