With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catarina S. Gomes (East Providence, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Catarina shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Catarina farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Jose S. Gomes. She is survived by: her mother Leodina S. Gomes (Silva); her sisters, Maria L. Pereira (Carlos) and Susan S. Rodrigues (Joao); her niece Ariana Pereira (Daniel Anselmo); and her nephews, Corey Rodrigues, Andrew Rodrigues (Jacqueline Rodrigues) and Tyler Rodrigues.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martha Church (2595 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914).
