He was predeceased by: his parents, Rui Vasconcelos and Erminalda Vasconcelos (Sousa). He is survived by: his spouse Rosamaria Vasconcelos (Fontes); his children, Elizabeth F. Pianka (Frank), Carlos E. Vasconcelos, Jr. and Lena Vasconcelos; his grandchildren, Niko, Anthony, Briana and Cienna; and his siblings, Ana Costa, Gilberto Vasconcelos, Nair Veiga, Teresa Vasconcelos, Antonio Vasconcelos, Rui Vasconcelos and Ildefonso Vasconcelos.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (81 N Carpenter St, East Providence, RI 02914).
