He was predeceased by: his spouse Francelia Monteiro (Andrade); his parents, Caesar Monteiro, and Anastatia Monteiro, Sr. (Sweeney); his child Caesar "Humphrey" Monteiro; and his siblings, Mary, Josephine, Robert, Anthony and Lydia.
He is survived by: his son Edmund Monteiro of Newport; his grandson Aaron Monteiro; his great grandchildren, Aaron, Cameron, Tatianna, Kyla and Skye Monteiro; and his siblings, Catherine Monteiro and Edward Monteiro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
