She was predeceased by: her husband Roger N. Porter; her parents, Thomas B. Lavin Jr. and Rose Lavin (Scott); and her sibling Thomas S. Lavin. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly A. Ascenio of East Providence, Kristine L. Travis of Rumford and Kelly L. Vieira of Rumford; her siblings, Robert M. Lavin of Riverside, Paul B. Lavin of North Providence, Rev Bernard C. Lavin of Cumberland and Maryanne Bender of South Carolina; and her pet RJ. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
