It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Duarte of East Providence, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Pimentel (Mazza) and Manuel Pimentel; and her son Frank S. Duarte. She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Smith, Manuel Pimentel, Leonard Pimentel and Raymond Pimentel; and her close friends, Arlene and Joyce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She generously donated to her church and various local charities, always seeking to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
