He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Avelina "Vivi" Gonsalves (Gomes); his children, Abner Gonsalves and Denise Moore; his granddaughter Leah Moore; his mother Isabel Gonsalves; his children-in-law, Tanice (Gonsalves) and Lamel Moore; his granddaughter Marley Rose Gonsalves; his siblings, Aristide and David Gonsalves; and also, Holland, France and Cape Verde. He was also cherished by his half-brothers, half-sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, godchildren, friends.
