He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sr. Speaks and Nena Speaks (Sailor); and his grandparents, William Sailor, Gladys Edna Sailor (Davis), Sylvester and Mary Speaks (Logan).
He is survived by: his wife Irmadene Jones-Speaks; his sons, Brian Mathew Speaks (Jennifer) of Providence, RI and Kevin Isiah Jones-Speaks of East Providence, RI.; and his siblings, Karen Speaks of East Providence, RI, Donna Speaks of Marlborough, MA and Lawrence Speaks (Joyce) of Providence, RI. He is also survived by one aunt, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in law, Godchildren.
