He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Doughney and Grace Doughney. He is survived by: his wife Mary Doughney (Scully); his children, Mary E. Acciardo (Vincent), Anthony M. Doughney (Mary) and Joseph J. Doughney; his grandchildren, Vincent M. Acciardo (Katie), Amanda Doughney and Connor Doughney; and his great grandchildren, Vincent M. Acciardo and Madelyn D. Acciardo.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (141 State St, Bristol, RI 02809).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made out to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School.
