He was predeceased by: his wife Etta Ramona Baker (Lewis); his parents, Clarence William Baker and Mary Alice Baker (Johnson); and his siblings, Clarence William Baker, Chester Baker Jr., Earl Baker, Juanita Morris of New Britain, CT., Anna Terry Beckley of West, VA and Geraldine Tyson.
He is survived by: his children, Alice Dickens, Lori Meredith of Yorktown, VA, Sharon Gravell of Hope, RI, Lisa Baker of Exeter, RI, Charles Baker of Seattle, WA and Alphonso Baker Jr. of West Warwick, RI.; and his grandchildren, Aaron Dickens, Jennifer Cherry, Jamie Meredith, Jeremy Meredith, Charles Baker Jr., George Baker, Jared Gravell, Corey Baker and Tiara Baccari. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
