He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan W. Comery and Doris Comery (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Comery (Rembijas); his grandchild Besides; his children, Matthew A. Comery (Becky) of North Attleboro and Jennifer K. Comery of Seekonk; his grandchildren, Bryce, Jordyn, Alexander, Austin and Ryan; and his brother Clifton Comery of West Greenwich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
