It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Hunter (East Greenwich, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Powell Hunter; and her parents, William Littlefield and Caroline Littlefield. She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Fulton (Tom) of Atlanta, GA, Leslie H. Gunther (Tom) of North Kingstown and William C. Hunter (Susan) of Venice, FL; her grandchildren, Andrew H. McGinnis (Laura), Meghan E. McDonnell (Liam), Lindsay G. Harris (Sean), Jason W. Hunter (Kelly), Sarah H. Stebbins (Brian), Shannon M. Mauro (Justin) and Gianna M. Mauro (Jason); her sibling Shirley Monks of East Greenwich; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Ward of Barrington. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Luke's Episcopal Church would be greatly appreciated.
