He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo F. Smith Sr. and Mary Smith (Hunt); and his sister Mary Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Arlene F. Smith (Jacobs); his children, Linda Willse, Jennifer Sharkey (Timothy), Melanie Smith (Joseph Quackenbush) and Leo F. Smith III (late Maureen); his grandchildren, Dr. Cadence Willse (Simon Freyaldenhoven), Nathan Willse, Jacob, Kathryn, Joseph Sharkey, Emily Smith and Henry Quackenbush; his great grandchild Claire Freyaldenhoven (Arlene); and his sisters, Eileen Laughlin, Sheila Lynch and Patricia Nolan.
