He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Sousa and Marie Sousa (Kilkenny); his sister Helen Hanrahan; and his daughters, Elizabeth M. Tully and Kathleen G. Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, Maureen P. Sousa and Joseph R. Sousa.
