With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Peters of East Greenwich, Rhode Island, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on January 27, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Peters and Esther Peters (Althoff); his brother Jerold Peters; his children, Kimberly (Glenn), Russell (Erica) and Alicia; his grandchildren, Sarah, Alex (Katie), Pamela, Benjamin, Paige and Jack; his great grandchild Bently; his mother-in-law Vivian Gagnon; and his siblings-in-law, Judi Peters, Collette Gagnon and Theodore Gagnon (Ted). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
