He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ellen Compton (Cheney); his children, Russell, Peter and Adam; his daughters-in-law, Alexandra and Sarah; his grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Sebastian, Francesca, Henry, Sophia and Susannah; and his friends, Dungeness, Alfa Romeo and Ellen.
