He is survived by: his wife Maria Filippou (Haleftiris); his parent Maria Filippou (Zaharia); his sons, Themistoklis "Tim" Georgeos Filippou, Konstantinos Georgeos Filippou and Nikola Georgeos Filippou (Aksana); his grandsons, Alexander Georgeos Filippou and Andreas Georgeos Filippou; and his siblings, Petro, Philip, Nikola Filippou and Alexandra Botchis.
