She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles William Bertwell and Dorothy May Hall Bertwell; her brothers, Chip and Steve; her husband James Monroe Jaques, III; her children, Brian James Jaques and Emily Corbett; her brother Jeffrey; her daughter Shawn Paul Corbett, Sr.; her grandchildren, Edward Bradley Corbett, Shawn Paul Corbett, Jr. and Gay; and also Kara Elizabeth Ferland.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Humane Society, a cause she always felt very strongly for.
