He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Walsh (Flynn); his parents, John Thomas Walsh and Alice Walsh (Monahan); his child Tracy Walsh of Woonsocket; and his siblings, John Thomas Walsh, Jr. of North Kingstown, Marie Casey of South Kingstown and Elizabeth Choquette of Warwick.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward J. Walsh, Jr. (Kim) of East Greenwich and James Walsh (Abby) of Medfield, MA; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Alison, James, Flynn, Clare, Luke, Maeve, Mary, Grace and Kolbe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
