He is survived by: his wife Frances Taliaferro (Mortellaro); his sister Joylon O'Dell of Sarasota, Florida.; his children, Diale Taliaferro II (Mindy) and Denise Taliaferro (Chris Nichols); and his grandchildren, Aiden, Owen, Diale and Madeleine.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Saint Elizabeth Home, 2364 Post Rd. Suite 100, Warwick, RI 02886 and the Alzheimer's Association, http://act.alz.org, will be gratefully accepted.
