We bid farewell to Barbara S. Olson of East Greenwich, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Yaw Sweet and Esther Holland Sweet; and her husband John. She is survived by: her children, John David Olson, Suzan Jean Bonneau (William Bonneau) and Carolyn Sweet Olson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
