She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Vieira Paiva and Maria J. Paiva (Martins); and her brother Jose M. Paiva. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Gendreau; and her siblings, John C. Paiva of Dighton and Marilou Gouveia of Coventry, RI.. She is also survived by niece and three nephews.
