Savastano Sr. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Saverino Savastano and Concetta Savastano (DiGregorio). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia M. Savastano (Rezendes); his children, William G. Savastano Jr. of Cumberland, Sylvia M. Smith (William) of Lincoln, Gregory J. Savastano (Gretchen) of Illinois, Thomas S. Savastano (Gina) of Illinois and Michael Vincent Saverino Savastano of Warwick; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Smith, Spencer Smith, Kelsey Smith, Valentina Savastano, Pauly Liang, Milana Savastano, Sienna Savastano, Jackson Savastano, Brooklyn Savastano and Sophia Savastano; and his sister Linda Ventura (Anthony) of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (3609 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
