He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Grimes, Sr. and Agnes Grimes (DeSimone); and his siblings, Joseph Grimes, Jr., Sheila Murphy, Paul Grimes and John Grimes.
He is survived by: his wife Christine A. Grimes (Geddes); his sons, Michael Grimes (Crystal) and Gregory Grimes (Nikole); his grandchildren, Cayden, Scarlett and Reese; his siblings, Deborah Procopio (Joseph), Mary Grimes and James Grimes (Connie); and his brother-in-law Joseph Murphy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI 02911). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Mother of Mankind Church (25 4th St, North Providence, RI 02911). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
