He is survived by: his wife Louise Monroe (Baron); his children, Toni Kent Fitzgerald of Coventry, Scott Kent, Jeffrey Kent of North Kingstown and Melanie Depointe of Cumberland; his grandson Auden; and his sister Sheila Kent Sanna of North Smithfield. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and his two nieces.
