He was predeceased by: his wife Tina Smith (Zodda); his parents, Eldon M. Smith and Bridget Jane Smith (Finelli); and his stepbrother William O'Brien. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Smith of Greenville, S. C., Christina Reidy of Sturbridge, Mass., Corey Smith of Bristow, VA and Kevin Smith of Cumberland; his siblings, Madeline Slager of Illinois, Debbie Carey of Missouri and Donald Smith of Missouri; and his stepsibling Gene O'Brien. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
