He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Laxton and Mildred Laxton (Smith); and his sibling Glenn Laxton. He is survived by: his spouse Gail M. Laxton (Laurie); his children, Stephen F. Laxton Jr. (Sondra) of Cranston, Allison L. Spampinato (Salvatore) of Cumberland and David J. Laxton (Shannon) of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Madison, Sara, Cameron, Abigail, Ryan and Kyle; and his pets, Cody and Elvis.
