She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Chomka; and her parents, Luke Higgins and Elsie Higgins (Kulasewski). She is survived by: her children, Margaret Ganim, Edward Chomka (Susan), Patricia Landry (Steven), Steven Chomka (Lynne), Ann Marie Jalette and Walter Chomka Jr. (Nellie); her grandchildren, Alexandra (Chris), Katherine (Jimmy), Christine (Craig), Evan, Brianna (Eric), Nicholas, Julie, Eric (Jennifer), Keith (Jaimie), Jack (Katya), Alexander and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Cole, Owen, Foster, Jesse, Tegan and Louis; her nieces and nephews, Allison and Matthew; her sisters, Patricia Higgins and Ann Lawrence; and her sister-in-law Jeanne Higgins (late Luke Higgins).
