He was predeceased by: his parent Alfred Rivard; and his sibling Albert Rivard. He is survived by: his wife Rita Marie Rivard (Tague); his parent Bertha Rivard (Poulin); his children, Richard Rivard (Melanie) of Cape Cod, Cynthia Otis of Cumberland, Joanne Campbell (Glenn) of Cumberland and William Rivard (Peter Simon) of Ft; and his siblings, Eugene Rivard and Charles Rivard.
