He was predeceased by: his sister Elisa Coelho. He is survived by: his wife Ana Rosa Soares (Silva); his children, Rogerio Soares Jr. (Nicole) of Attleboro, Fausto Soares (Celeste) of North Attleboro and Fatima Araujo (Joseph) of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Alexis, Andrew, Isabella, Jacob, Samuel and Joshua; and his siblings, Floriana Thomas of Pawtucket, Odete Almeida of Portugal, Augusta Mekhaeel of West Warwick and Manuel Soares of Cranston.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1 Fatima Dr, Cumberland, RI 02864).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Avenue, Suite 201, Pawtucket, RI 02860, an organization that was close to his heart after his wife's multiple battles with breast cancer.
