He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile O. Towner and Jeanne Towner (Leroux); and his siblings, Estelle Gray, Lorraine Hood and Emile O. "Pete" Towner.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn A. Towner (McNulty); his daughters, Mary L. Kelly (late Jay Kelly) of Cumberland and Jeanne F. Salisbury (James) of No; his sister Lucille Doucette of Cumberland; and his grandchildren, Robert R. Towner III and Kelly Salisbury. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
