He was predeceased by: his parents, Fortunato Abato and Clara Abato (Weinstein). He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Abato (Branco); his son Travis Abato (Christina) of Warwick; his stepson Jonathan Tourtellot (Amanda) of Danielson, CT; and his grandchildren, Jordyn and Braxton.
